Pat is the Eternal Bartender. He has worked at juke joints, mead halls, and floating barges filled with beer. As long as there have been public places to drink, Pat has been there with his white shirt and surly attitude. He can tell you stories about how bars used to be. And he will. All you need to do is tell him some bar lore and he can steer you straight. He can tell you how he helped create the Sandwich. He might divulge what the bar at the big bang was like. He can confess about the time he got napkin drawings from Picasso to pay the bar tab. There is a long history of bar life and Pat knows it all, because he was there. So sidle up to the bar and ask him some questions and Pat will answer. Just remember to be polite. And tip, dammit. You have to remember to tip.
