Flying Monsters & Other Cryptids

Earth abounds in Alien bases, both underground and underwater. There are at least 30 bases near the coastlines and there are probably many more underground. In fact they have made themselves at home progressively over the last four thousand years. But what are they doing here?There are at least four possibilities, all of which may apply:The aliens are here to lift us up to a moral and technological standard where we are fit to take our place in a galaxy-wide civilization.The aliens are using Earth as a place for hidden colonies so that, if their home planet is destroyed, their species will still survive.They are using Earth as a holiday home, enjoying its water-rich environment.They are using us as a potential food source.Cryptids, who make little effort to conceal themselves, fall mainly into the third of these categories, along with some Earth creatures like Dire Wolves, the Thunderbird, Elasmosaurs and Pterosaurs.Yeti and the Fae have chosen to live here permanently, whilst other species such as the Saurians, Dog Men and Cat Men seem to visit us frequently. It is probable that Mothmen and Harpies treat us as a food source - drinking our blood.It is probable that our governments are powerless to do anything about it.
