Por primera vez desde la muerte de Pedro Calderón de la Barca, sale a la luz una lista cronológica completa de 589 cartas, documentos y escrituras referentes al Fénix de los ingenios y lucero mayor de la poesía española y sus familiares. El principal propósito de este trabajo ha sido poner en orden el amplio material archivístico y facilitar la aproximación del investigador, para así asentar las bases de lo que se sabe de la vida del Monstruo de Ingenio. Además, la obra contiene índices de lugares y nombres para una mejor localización de los documentos.
